Popular audio brand Naim Audio has recently announced the successor to its incredibly popular Mu-so wireless speaker, the Mu-so Qb.
Like its predecessor, the Mu-so Qb spares no detail as Naim packed an impressive amount of audio power into a shockingly small cube-shaped body. There’s even a full 300 watts of amplification in the 21-centimeter cube, with a duo of 50W tweeters and an additional two 50W mid-range speakers, all capped off with a 100W subwoofer and a pair of bass radiators to deliver amazing sound depth.
All of this tech is fit into a glass-reinforced polymer cabinet with an anodized aluminum lid and a rear heatsink, which is needed since all the power created produces a ton of heat.
With the same 32-bit digital signal processor as the Mu-so, the Mu-so Qb has the ability to support the type of high-resolution audio expected from a high-end system. The new wireless speaker also has the ability to be synced with up to four other Naim products for a multi-room sound experience via the Naim App.
The Mu-so Qb is also set up with Bluetooth AptX and Spotify Connect. It will go on sale in March for $999.95.
