One of the foremost leaders in fashionable fitness trackers has just unveiled its newest product. That’s right, Fitbit has announced the newest addition to its line of stylish fitness trackers: the Fitbit Alta.
The new tracker sports a slimmer and sleeker style with a bevy of new features. Unlike some of its bulkier predecessors, this tracker doesn’t overwhelm the wearer and fits in seamlessly among other bracelets.
Priced at just $130, it sports many of the features its peers do, like step counts, text alerts, a clock, and auto sleep tracking. The battery is also estimated to last for up to five days, which is shorter than the Charge model, but about the same as the Charge HR version.
Customers hoping for a more luxurious look can upgrade the standard plastic band by opting for one of the more luxurious steel or leather bands priced at $100 and $60, respectively.
Aside from its upgraded look, the best new feature might be the reminders which work to prod the wearer into action when they’ve been stagnant for too long. The idle alert feature means Fitbit can truly battle it out with competitors like Jawbone.
Interested customers can pre-order today with North American shipping beginning in March.
