Being ready to pop didn’t stop Anne Hathaway and her husband Adam Shulman from recently purchasing a 1,200-square-foot penthouse in a New York co-op for $2.55 million.
Much of the price comes from the provenance of the property, which is a five-unit mansion built in 1904 by the Clark family that has become a piece of history as one of the last private mansions built on the Upper West Side.
The penthouse has an elevator entrance, but residents can also enter via a classic iron staircase.
With a baby on the way, Hathaway and her husband should be happy with the two-bedroom, two-bathroom penthouse with 18-foot ceilings with skylights in the bedrooms and kitchen.
