Golfing legend “Gentle” Ben Crenshaw may be retired from the game, but he’s hoping to win in the real estate market. The former pro golfer has just listed his Austin, Texas, home for $5.7 million.
At 7,236 square feet set on nearly one-and-a-half acres, there’s plenty of room for entertaining friends and family. In fact, with a beautiful home at the end of a cul-de-sac in the Tarrytown neighborhood and grounds with sprawling foliage, a pool, and a cabana, it’s the perfect place to simply relax.
Originally built in 1966, the six-bedroom home is fully upgraded with a copper ceiling in the dining room, brickwork walls, a marble floor in the entryway, and, of course, built-in trophy cases. In true Crenshaw style, there’s also a beautiful putting green in the backyard.
Although Crenshaw and his wife, Julie, have owned the home since 1988, the two-time winner of the green jacket at The Masters is sure to find another perfect home.
