Radio host Don Imus is selling his duplex penthouse at the top of a luxury apartment complex in the Upper West Side of New York for $16.9 million.
The penthouse features three bedrooms, including a sprawling master suite with a fireplace and extensive closet space. The property holds views of Central Park from its living room’s arched windows, a library/office, and a Southwestern-inspired kitchen with high-grade appliances. A wide terrace wraps around three sides of the penthouse with a scenic look of the Midtown skyline and even more views of the park.
A street-level apartment in the same complex that’s currently used as an office space and guest quarters is also available $2.9 million.
Imus offloaded another of his east coast property holdings recently; a 10,000-square-foot home sitting on four acres of waterfront land in Westport, Connecticut, which sold for $14.4 million in 2013. He’s also listed a 3,400-acre working ranch just outside of Sante Fe, New Mexico, for $30 million.
The cowboy hat-wearing host still owns a 8,400-square-foot mansion on 160 acres in Brenham, Texas.
