Louis Vuitton has been a powerhouse in the luxury accessory market for decades, and now the high-end brand is hoping to make a name for itself as a watchmaker too.
Having officially obtained the Poinçon de Genève certification, Louis Vuitton has unveiled a new case and an exclusive skeleton tourbillon movement. The watch is appropriately named Louis Vuitton Flying Tourbillon Poinçon de Genève and features a high level of transparency and perfect simplicity.
Of course, it’s the brand’s new Poinçon de Genève certification that truly stands out since the standing establishes the brand as one of the most exclusive and sought-after watchmakers. Regulated by the laws of the Geneva canton, each aspect of the watch is reviewed, verified, and certified.
Wearers will also certainly enjoy the unique V of the tourbillon cage at 6 o’clock, bevelled bridges on both faces, and a minimalist construction with only 168 components. A LV104 calibre developed from scratch by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton and a bespoke skeleton structure take the timepiece to the next level with a bold and contemporary design.
Additionally, with measurements of 41 mm in width and 43.7 mm diagonally, it’s a completely new shape designed to easily fit its wearer.
