Among the many luxury vehicles to debut at this year’s Detroit Auto Show, Infiniti’s new BMW-rivaling vehicle is making waves. The 2017 Infiniti Q60 looks much like its concept, which was unveiled at last year’s event, and features a muscular build and advanced aerodynamic features.
The stylish coupe is identifiable by its low-positioned double-arched grill, active grill shutters, and unique headlights which are designed to appear like human eyelids. All of the trim models include active noise cancellation technology like stiff cross-members and wheel spokes crafted to dampen vibrations.
Of course a 13-speaker Bose sound system specially designed for the new coupe doesn’t hurt either. Drivers can expect hearty upgrades to the infotainment system, too, with Bluetooth tech and a screen that displays images from the available 360-degree camera.
Infiniti upped the performance value with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 400 hp at 6,400 rpm and 350 lb-ft of torque. All that power is bolstered by a seven-speed automatic transmission and standard, rear-wheel drive.
The 2017 Infiniti Q60 Coupe is set to appear in showrooms later this year.
