Golf’s new No. 1 Jordan Spieth made a major splash with the purchase of his new Dallas, Texas home for $8.5 million in December.
The price of the mansion is just a fraction of the $53 million the 22-year-old Dallas native earned in 2015 after winning the Masters and US Open to dethrone Tiger Woods as the sport’s highest earner.
Spieth purchased the home from US Ryder Cup teammate Hunter Mahan—a six-time PGA Tour winner himself—and while the house wasn’t custom built for Spieth, it might as well have been.
The five-bedroom mansion comes with an indoor golf simulator, a large indoor gym, a basketball court situated just off of the 12-car garage, a glass-walled wine cellar, and an eye-popping outdoor pool and patio area.
Spieth’s new home even has a “grill room” just to create some tasty barbecue.
