When the owner of a beautiful red Lamborghini Aventador left his car with a valet driver while visiting a South Beach restaurant in Miami, he didn’t know it was going to end in disaster.

You see, the valet decided to have a little fun with the supercar and took the Lambo cruising down Miami streets. He ended up showing off a little too much, literally revving the engine until it caught fire…on both ends of the vehicle.

Luckily for the valet, one of the witnesses had the good sense to grab a fire extinguisher and put the poor Aventador out of its misery, but not before numerous eyewitnesses caught the whole thing with cameras on their smartphones.

Not surprisingly, even though the fire was put out, the Lambo wouldn’t start again. Hopefully the valet’s employer has some good insurance since a new Lamborghini Aventador starts around $400,000.
