Luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz is celebrating its 130th anniversary with a limited edition of the S63 Cabrio called Edition 130.

The company has always been proud of having invented the car when German engineer Karl Benz built his Benz Patent Motorwagen in 1886. Now, more than a century later, the special edition Cabrio was introduced at the Detroit Auto Show to honor that legacy.

Featured exclusively in a high-gloss color called Alubeam Silver, the special vehicle is different from the classic Cabrio with 20-inch black alloy wheels, red brake calipers, and a burgundy cloth soft top.

The interior is bold and stylish with two-tone red and black Designo Nappa leather upholstery and piano black accents. Each Edition 130 also comes with a custom car cover and an engraved plaque on the center console.

Mechanically, the car is unchanged, so drivers should expect powerful twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 engines capable of producing 577 horsepower and 663 lb-ft of torque. With a zero-to-62 mph time of 3.9 seconds, drivers won’t be disappointed.

The Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabrio Edition 130 will be available in Germany in April for around $246,850, but only 130 examples will be made.
