In honor of Kodak’s 50th anniversary of “Super 8” film, the iconic camera company has teamed up with Yves Behar to create a throwback version of the classic “Super 8” camera for the next generation of filmmakers.
The new camera will have the ability to record in both analog and digital formats using Kodak “Super 8” film and a SD memory card. There will also be a bevy of ports on the rear of the camera for sharing.
Kodak’s special “Super 8” film will be available for processing by the company with an option for digital transfer of the film, which the owner can access via the Kodak cloud.
The Kodak “Super 8” camera is made out of machined metal and available in two colors, “midnight black” and “bone china.” It will also feature both a top handle grip and a detachable pistol grip, all complete with an option for a removable microphone.
