BMW continues to create new models and each one wows with beautiful curves. One of the most head-turning creations to come from the German company is a vision of things to come: It’s the luxurious 9 Series that’s rumored to release in 2020, though any of this information has yet to be officially confirmed.

The 9 Series four-door coupe is based on the long-wheelbase edition of the 7 Series and is thought to fall somewhere between the Rolls-Royce Ghost and BMW 7 Series. The new vehicle is expected to be high-end and incredibly styled with a price tag befit of the advanced aesthetics.

According to rumors, the four-seater will sport engine options like a twin-turbocharged V8 and a six-cylinder hybrid. Some believe a V12 version might even make the cut, unless electric powertrains completely change the field in the next couple of years. With that kind of power, interested customers can expect 650 or more horsepower.

Critics say BMW is unlikely to base a 2020 release on a concept that was first unveiled in 2014. The 9 Series could either undergo a radical transformation or be moved up to a 2017 or 2018 release. Either way, the concept has generated enough buzz for BMW to seriously consider moving upmarket.
