Bentley has always mastered the art of decking out a car in luxurious fashion both on the inside and outside, but now the British company is taking interior finishing to an entirely new level.
Thanks to custom stone-veneer technology, Bentley’s Mulliner workshop has been able to create a bespoke stone veneer finish for its cars.
Sourced from quarries in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh, India, Bentley is able to produce stone veneers that are only 0.004 inches thick—less than the breadth of a human hair. This ensures the finishes add a unique aesthetic to the design without adding much weight at all.
For now the new veneer options will only be available in the Continental and Flying Spur models and come in four natural colors: Galaxy, Autumn White, Terra Red, and Copper.
