The Great One is trying to sell his Westlake Village, California, mansion for the second time in the past few years. And this time the hockey legend has dropped his price by $2.3 million.

Wayne Gretzky’s Westlake Village estate holds an enormous 8,711-square-foot Tuscan-style home that features everything befit the legend of its current owner. The house sports a gym, outdoor kitchen, sauna, and a gigantic pool.

The home probably served useful when Gretzky’s son, Trevor, was attending nearby Oaks Christian high school and starring on the Lions’ football and baseball fields, but now it seems like the family is ready to move on from the Southern California scene.

Gretzky and his wife, actress Janet Jones, are asking $8,195,000 for the five-bedroom, six-bathroom villa. And while sometimes the home of a superstar athlete can be hard to sell because of the custom attributes that it can feature, real estate agents agree this isn’t the case with the Gretzky house and call the listing a true family-friendly purchase.
