Tech brand Avegant has created an incredible new personal theater after a successful Kickstarter campaign. Far surpassing their original funding goal of $250,000, Avegant received $1,509,506 to develop the advanced new tech.
The company’s flagship creation “Glyph” is a lightweight virtual reality device delivering high-quality audio and video. Easily portable, the personal theater connects will all types of media through a simple HDMI input.
By recreating natural light thanks to “retinal imaging technology,” images are actually delivered directly to the eyes using microscopic mirrors and advanced optics technology.
The ability to enjoy 360-degree videos is one of the most unique features, all available through a simple wearable device much like regular headphones. With lenses powered by LEDs, Glyph can deliver video playback for up to four hours.
