Beginning in mid-2016, travelers aboard the Hawaiian Airlines Airbus A330 passenger jets will enjoy luxury design and lie-flat seating. Developed in collaboration with Italian design firm Optimares, premium-class cabins will sport high-end elements and the ultimate in comfortable travel.
Inspired by contemporary Hawaiian style, the new seats can expand into 76-inch-long flat beds which are arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration for privacy and comfort. Large-format tablets and telescoping tablet arms also means customers can still enjoy digital entertainment while in a lounging position.
A neutral color palette with hints of blue evokes feelings of an island landscape with curving silhouettes and sleek, wave-like shapes. Hawaiian Airlines plans to feature the new seating options in all of its A330 fleet by the end of 2017.
