Frequent travelers are always looking for ways to streamline their trips and now that’s even more of a possibility with a new carry-on bag complete with a charging station.
New York-based Shalgi Design Studio developed the G-RO smart bag, and it has become the most funded luggage item on Kickstarter ever.
The G-RO looks sleek with patented all-terrain wheels built to glide over a multitude of surfaces. Developed to work for a business or pleasure trip, the carry-on’s internal compartments are spacious enough for clothes and personal belongings, while work items have their own external compartment.
Additional features include a built-in tablet stand and charging station equipped with two USB ports. Customers can choose to add the optional electronic module that charges all electronics at the same time while on the move. The module also provides a proximity sensor and a GPS tracker so you don’t lose your bag.
G-RO raised more than $3 million on the crowd-funding platform and is currently available for preorder.
