As far as luxurious homes go, there’s plenty of competition. However, tech entrepreneur Kumar Malavalli’s exquisite $88-million, Silicon Valley house is up there with the best.

Spanning eight acres in beautiful Los Altos Hills, California, the estate features a bell tower, and an indoor swimming pool with a retractable roof. Additionally, it is one of the most expensive properties to ever be listed publicly in the area. Malavalli works at home since there is also an executive center on the premises.

The expansive main home spans around 20,400 square feet with five bedrooms. Straight across a bridge is the roughly 1,024-square-foot executive center complete with a kitchenette, conference room, and a reception desk.

Much of 72-year-old Malavalli’s success comes from his work as the co-founder of Brocade Communications, which is a data center and storage networking company. It’s said that the successful businessman built the executive center so he could truly separate his business life from his personal one.

Malavalli isn’t just focused on work, though; he often entertains and hosts as many as 250 guests at a time with his full catering kitchen on the property. All those guests are sure to enjoy the incredible swim-up bar and retractable roof, which promptly—and automatically—closes when it begins to rain.

Additional amenities include a home theater, a gym, and a six-car garage, plus a wine cellar that can hold around 4,000 bottles. The bell tower area is also especially beautiful with various sculptures and gardens like the lush meditation garden.

Malavalli is said to be selling the breathtaking property because his children have grown up and he and his wife would like to live closer to their grandchildren.
