Färg & blanche have collaborated with Swedish brand Johanson Design to develop “Frankie.” The unique chair’s look is inspired by a pair of suspenders. Yes, we’re talking about the ones used to hold up trousers.

Inspired by Färg & blanche’s fashion interests, Frankie could just as easily fit in an episode of “Mad Men” as well as in any modern home. The seat is named for dancing legend Frankie Manning, which helps to explain its fun yet stylish aesthetic since Manning was one of the creators of the lindy hop.

Sporting straps much like pant braces, the chairs have a casual but personal flair. An upholstered seat and spring back also ensure a comfortable spot to sit.
