Former Dolphin Patrick Surtain Trades One Florida Mansion for Another

Retired NFL cornerback Patrick Surtain may have sold his expansive Weston, Florida, mansion in September, but now the ex-Dolphin has purchased another Sunshine State estate.

After receiving $4.25 million for his Weston property, Surtain just paid $2.15 million for his new Plantation, Florida, home. Spanning 6,456 square feet, his new digs are nearly half the size of his previous property, but offer plenty of space with five bedrooms and 6.5 baths.

Surtain surely enjoys the open floorpan with a stylish and modern aesthetic like the blend between ash wood cabinetry and sleek white countertops. There’s also a stylish den with French doors, hardwood floors, and a built-in wet bar, which opens to the beautiful and lush backyard.

The three-time Pro Bowler’s master suite matches the luxury of the rest of the home with a large master bath, a walk-in closet, two full-size vanities, and a walk-in shower with dual showerheads.
