Disney and Pixar Animation Studios president Ed Catmull is probably feeling pretty happy with his new purchase, as the 70-year-old co-founder of Pixar became the new owner of a $9.95 million mansion in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood.

The 6,700-square-foot home last hit the market in 2012, when it sold or $7.4 million, and is located within walking distance of San Fran’s Fillmore Street and all of its upscale restaurants, bars, and shops.

Catmull is known for his exquisite taste in real estate, and his new five-bedroom home takes the cake with a modern chef’s kitchen and breakfast bar, remodeled bathrooms, gym, and a unique outdoor area for both dining and leisure.
