Mobile phone company Vertu continues to rival big-name phone brands like Apple and Android with a new addition to their Vertu Aster collection.
Mixing Japanese craftsmanship with classic English tech, the new phone is both innovative and stylish. The “Aster Yosegi Wood” stands out among other special additions with its representation of Japanese marquetry.
Intricate Basswood strips are boldly dyed and laminated before being shaved off to display the detailed pattern that makes up the phone’s unique casing.
While the checkerboard pattern harkens back to bamboo weaves and fishnets, it’s also right in sync with modern trends. A black and beige calf leather case with a suede leather lining is also part of the Aster Yosegi Wood’s look.
Incredible specs like a 13-mp rear camera, 4.7″ full HD display, and a sapphire crystal screen complete the limited-edition smartphone. Rare and chic, only 50 models will be created.
