San Francisco-based PUBLIC bikes has created a special edition bike in honor of possibly the most beautiful street in the world, the iconic Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, France.
Dubbed the D8i Champs-Elysees and incorporating a classic French look to PUBLIC’s Diamond series of designs, the D8i Champs-Elysees features a chrome finish along with an antique brown Brooks B17 leather saddle with matching grips.
A silver porter rack in the front of the bicycle, which was inspired by mid-century French courier bikes, provides an easy way to carry bags or groceries in the confines of a city. Wide whitewall tires complete the classic look, but don’t expect the treads to stay clean.
PUBLIC offers the Champs-Elysees model in three sizes (small, medium, and large) to accommodate various heights and can be shipped in nearly complete form.
