Hollywood great Charlton Heston’s longtime home is now on the market. Listed for $12.25 million, the Los Angeles home began construction in 1959 when Heston was filming “Ben-Hur.”
Set on around 3.5 acres in the Beverly Hills Post Office area, a gated driveway leads up to the four-bedroom home complete with staff quarters. With expansive mountain views and a two-story library, it’s the perfect escape from the busy city.
The unique home also features a separate building with a screening room and bedroom, a photo studio, a tennis court and pavilion, and a swimming pool.
The Oscar-winning actor’s home hasn’t changed much since it was built, so the new owner might want to make some updates/renovations depending on their preferred aesthetic.
Charlton lived in the beautiful California home until his death in 2008.
