Actor and funnyman Steve Martin has just sold his home on the Caribbean island of St. Barthelemy for $7.78 million.

The 3,000-square-foot home has four bedrooms and was first listed by Martin back in 2013 for $11.24 million. It took several years (and a considerable price reduction) to finally sell the property.

Set on a hilltop with incredible views of the ocean and the islands of St. Martin and Anguilla, it’s hard to imagine why the actor would ever want to leave.

With a two-tiered outdoor swimming pool and covered outdoor dining space—all with spectacular water views—it’d be easy to forget you weren’t at some exotic Caribbean resort.

An open, airy layout and lush garden landscape means the new owners won’t be disappointed.
