Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer has joined the new era of the watch by announcing the release of the Connected smartwatch earlier this month.

The Tag Heuer Connected is the first smartwatch to run on an Intel processing chip, and is powered by the Atom Z34XX. The watch also sports a 410mAh battery, which offers 25 hours of use on a single charge.

The Connected watch utilizes the Android Wear platform which features Google’s voice search, Maps, Translate, Fit apps, and comes with 4GB of storage. Tag Heuer also created four of its own custom apps with RaceChrono Pro, GolfShot Pro, Insiders, and Viewrangers, all coming with free subscriptions with the purchase of the watch.

The Connected watch is currently on sale, and Tag Heuer is offering a limited edition run of 1,000 units for $1,500 each.
