Sennheiser Orpheus were considered the best headphones 24 years ago, and the audio brand has been hard at work to develop a worthy successor.
The new Orpheus headphones have been deemed the “best headphones in the world” by Sennheiser, and with such incredible upgrades, it might be true.
Each set of headphones is handcrafted and housed in a unique glass and marble casing. Chrome-plated brass control knobs allow for easy control while precision-machined solid aluminum ear cups covered in genuine leather add to the set’s appeal.
Technical specs also match the luxury look with an audio range from 8 Hz to more than 100 kHz. Able to deliver high-end clarity with two gold-vaporized ceramic electrodes, it will be difficult to find headphones this beautiful or this good.
Priced at $55,100, Sennheiser Orpheus headphones will be handmade in Germany starting next year.
