Ario, a new company founded by a former Microsoft employee, has just launched its internet-connected smart lamp.
The lamp uses the Internet and LED bulbs to mimic the sunlight precisely as it appears in the time of day in user’s current environment. Ario claims that exposure to light in a time-appropriate hue from its new lamp will help users feel better and have more energy.
With a sleek metallic and industrial design, the Ario lamp can fit into any home. The smart lamp uses in-home Wi-Fi to gather GPS and time and date information to change the color and intensity of the light.
Ario will begin shipping smart lamps to customers in 2016 since its Kickstarter campaign was successful. There are still special discounts available for backers who’d like to snag the Ario smart lamp at a discounted price.
