Since 2001, Harry Winston has created limited and unique watches in collaboration with independent watchmakers for his Opus collection. This year’s addition adds to the story as its fourteenth chapter.
Partnering with Johnny Girardin and Franck Orny, the brand has pushed the boundaries even farther with the original Opus 14 timepiece.
The Opus 14 resembles a jukebox, inside and out, with details like the vinyl-looking finish of multiple pieces and the stylized design of the time display. Even the moniker insignia is a throwback to the early rock-and-roll and diner era.
But the coolest part of this watch is that it truly embodies a jukebox. The Opus 14 patented automaton complication moves the time area of the watch through four “disks,” which include local time, GMT time, the date, and a star with Harry Winston’s signature.
Harry Winston’s Opus 14 has a limited run of 50 pieces.
