Sometimes an oldie is a goodie, and that’s exactly what designer Love Hulten has created with its modern replica of the computer that changed the world: the Macintosh 128K.
There are a few differences from the molded plastic original. The Golden Apple is a throwback version made out of American walnut and gold-colored keys for the keyboard and power switch.
Another modernity is the advanced and easy-to-use wireless mouse. Of course, instead of a floppy drive, the Golden Apple installed a DVD drive in its place.
Don’t fear, the upgrades aren’t just on the exterior. The guts of the Golden Apple have been made with a Mac Mini with the most recent and advanced features.
