The late Roger Ebert’s Lake Michigan home is officially available. Just a little more than two years after his passing, his wife of 20 years, Chaz, is ready to move forward.
Listed for $4 million, the quaint and luxurious home was the Ebert’s go-to family vacation spot. With breathtaking views of the lake and a guesthouse right against the shore, it certainly won’t be easy to part with the beautiful estate.
Spanning 4,140 square feet, it should come as no surprise that a giant screen is the center of the home’s living room. Longtime film lovers can easily imagine the critic lounging beneath the home’s vaulted ceilings while enjoying (or not) a film from the overhead projector.
A warm and spacious family locale, the 1934 home features four bedrooms and five baths. The large kitchen and open dining areas make it the perfect spot for an evening spent with loved ones.
