World-renowned pen maker Montegrappa has linked up with Warner Bros. to release fountain and roller ball pens inspired by DC Comics characters, beginning with a limited edition line modeled after Batman.

Crafted in the color of Batman’s original costume, the pens are created out of aluminum and feature a black finish.

The clip is made out of ruthenium-plated brass and the pen is finished with engraved flying bats and an 18k-gold nib bearing the iconic Batman logo.

Montegrappa will offer 1,939 of these pens, in honor of the year the character of Batman first appeared. The company will also offer 500 collection boxes that come with either pen, matching cufflinks, and a matching watch.
