Porsche just unveiled the 2017 Macan GTS for its world debut at the Tokyo Motor Show.
The GTS model is between the S and Turbo versions of the Macan and even uses the same 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine as the entry-level Macan S. The Macan GTS has been reconfigured under the hood to deliver 360 hp—20 more than the S and 40 less than the Turbo—at 6,000 rpm and 369 pound-feet of torque.
The new Macan GTS zooms from zero to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds, and when Porsche adds its Sports Chrono package it can reach speeds up to 159 mph.
Drivers and passengers will enjoy leather sport seats with Alcantara inserts, optional features like Apple CarPlay integration, a WiFi hotspot, and navigation with dynamic route calculation.
The Macan GTS is scheduled to go on sale in the United States next March with a base price of $67,000.
