The favorite vehicle brand of the trio Top Gear hosts, Alfa Romeo, has released an all-new luxury sedan, the Giulia. The rear-wheel-drive Giulia has only been shown in its sports version, the Quadrifoglio, as seen at this year’s Frankfurt auto show.
The Giulia Quadrifoglio produces 510 hp thanks to a 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 engine that can also be found in Maserati’s Quattroporte and Ghibli sedans. It uses that power to speed from zero to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
Alfa Romeo’s Giulia Quadrifoglio also features carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon-fiber sport seats, and a high power-to-weight ratio with a 50-50 weight distribution thanks to its unique design.
Alfa Romeo says the Giulia will be priced around $89,600 with deliveries expected to begin in Europe in early 2016 and in the United States a few months later.
