Although BMW’s new vehicle isn’t set to go on sale until next spring, plans for all-new 2016 M2 have been leaked.
With a subtle new facelift featuring a revised grille, new front fender vents, a strong front bumper, and widened wheel arches, the newest BMW incarnation is sleek and sophisticated.
The vehicle is quite similar to the regular 2 Series on the inside; the only change worth mentioning is the addition of Dakota leather sport seats with M logos on the backrests and blue contrast stitching.
A 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine that produces 365 hp and 342 lb-ft of torque provides plenty of power for the small, sleek car. When paired with the six-speed manual transmission, the BMW M2 can speed from zero to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds.
Customers with a need for speed can also opt for the seven-speed M Double Clutch transmission, which reduces the zero to 60 mph time to only 4.2 seconds.
