Scottish-born American comedian, writer, and producer Craig Ferguson has been dipping his toes in the real estate market. The celebrity recently flipped his Malibu, Calif., home for $7.195 million.

Located in an exclusive gated neighborhood, the late night chat show host purchased the home just 16 months ago for $5.6 million. From the photos, it doesn’t look like Ferguson made many changes to the exterior of the already stylish Cape Cod-style home.

Spanning 3,184 square feet with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, it only needed a minor facelift to give the 1970s property a new look.

With a fresh coat of paint, all-new medium-grade stainless steel kitchen appliances, glass balcony wind shields, new beach-side windows, and a built-in storage and entertainment unit added to the family room, the home looks as good as new.

Having made relatively minor changes, it looks like the celebrity funnyman made a tidy profit from the flip.
