Italian supercar brand Ferrari has joined the ranks of other high-end automakers in adding Apple CarPlay to its list of amenities. The special announcement came on the heels of one of the world’s most luxurious auto events, the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Although it was already added to the FF model and California T back in 2014 for the Geneva International Motor Show, the carmakers are now integrating the iOS system into the rest of its range of super-powered sports cars.
The super-sleek 488 GTB, 488 Spider, and F12 Berlinetta will be the next lucky models to receive the upgrade.
Apple’s CarPlay system integrates iPhone technology with the driver’s car for a safer, more connected driving experience. Users can use the tech to send and receive messages, listen to music, get directions, make calls, and more.
