Callaway Competition’s new Corvette C7 GT3-R just made its grand debut in Germany at the Hockenheimring, and now it’s set to begin competition in 2016.
With a strong carbon-fiber wide body designed by Paul Deutschman, the new supercar is intended to replace the popular Callaway Z06.R GT3.
The vehicle’s aggressive exterior is backed up by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that will steal the show on any road. Able to produce around 600 bhp, the strong engine is powered by a X-Trac six-speed sequential transmission.
Although specific details have yet to be released, Callaway has proudly revealed that their new creation has already surpassed the company’s performance expectations.
