Financial guru Suze Orman hopefully took some of her own fiscal advice as she just listed her New York City condo for $4.5 million. Since she paid $3.68 million for the unit in 2007, she’s set to make a decent profit if it sells for its asking price.
Located in NYC’s The Plaza, the 1,279-square-foot apartment may be small, but it’s luxurious. Apparently an identical unit just sold for $3 million more, but it sports views of Central Park.
Amenities at The Plaza include housekeeping, room service, and an upscale food court. Although lush, Orman tries to always purchase in a price range appropriate for her income and has been quoted as saying she only pays cash for real estate.
After a yearlong remodel, the one-bedroom, two-bath condo features silver-leaf crown moldings, a chandelier in the bedroom, and herringbone hardwood floors. It also comes fully furnished with upscale, designer furnishings and window treatments.
