Donna Scott—actress and widow of two-time Emmy-winning director/producer Tony Scott—has just listed her iconic Beverly Hills estate for $42.5 million.
The main home is a multi-level, mid-1920s Spanish Colonial with red-tile roofs. Designed by architect John Byers for filmmaker King Vidor, the estate was later expanded to 16 structures, including an aviary transformed into a guest cottage.
Stars like Marlon Brando, Katharine Hepburn, and Candice Bergen are a few of the cottage’s past visitors.
The entire estate spans six non-contiguous parcels totaling about 3.5 acres and consisting of developed and underdeveloped zones.
One of the other properties is a 6,976-square-foot residential home with three bedrooms, an octagonal living room, an entrance hall with fireplace, a Bavarian-inspired pub with redwood tree-trunk floors, and a study with a fully paneled library.
Two one-bedroom guest homes with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom are perfect for friends and family.
Among the several structures, new owners will enjoy lush greenery studded with terraces, stone stairways, and a lagoon-style swimming pool with a stone cabana.
Donna Scott owns several other residences on the shore of North Carolina’s Lake Norman and a beachfront home in Malibu.
