Louis Vuitton has just unveiled its new fall staple. The brand’s first unisex collection features contemporary new watches inspired by the look of LV’s iconic trunks.
Named LV Fifty Five, the watch sports a new case and fresh look. The timepiece’s structure takes cues from the rigid and sturdy structure of Louis Vuitton baggage with the globetrotter’s spirit in mind.
Housed in a slightly curved, round steel case with two metal plaques, the watch’s dial is crafted from two separate pieces. The letter V appears at each quarter while the LV signature shines at 12 o’clock.
Even the engraved winding crown gets its look from the heads of trunk rivets to fully integrate the luggage-inspired look. Created for customers with wanderlust, the watch is made from steel and has leather straps made in-house, a Louis Vuitton first.
Available in three sizes, the watches will be available in January 2016 starting at $3,300.
