In light of the launch of their Competition Package earlier this year, BMW has now added a Competition Edition special for its M6 models.

Unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show, the Competition Edition features the mechanical upgrades of the Competition Package, but has additional aesthetic tweaks. The new package is also limited to a 100-unit production run in the US.

The M6’s 4.4-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 gets even more power with 600 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque capable of pushing the coupe from zero to 60 in just 3.8 seconds.

Dampers, stiffer springs, anti-roll bars, and enhanced stability control help the upgraded model pack more punch.

Of course, the ultra-exclusive car wouldn’t be complete without a unique retro look complete with an Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel, contrast stitching, and 20-inch wheels.

Customers can also opt to add the Competition Package to the four-door Gran Coupe and the M6 convertible, but the Competition Edition special is only available for two-door coupes. Prices start at $164,900.
