Just because a property is owned by a celebrity doesn’t mean it will sell. This appears to be especially true for late-night show host Craig Ferguson, who just reduced the price on his Hollywood Hills home to $4.7 million.
Unfortunately for Ferguson, this isn’t the first time he’s lowered the listing price on his fully restored early 1900s property. He originally put the 4,100-square foot home on the market for $5.5 million.
Although it’s unclear why it hasn’t sold, it isn’t for lack of beauty. The double-gated Craftsman-style house features an open-concept kitchen and family room, 4 bedrooms, and 4.5 baths.
There’s also a separate stand-alone library and a set of guesthouses for visitors. Set on two-thirds of an acre on a tree-filled hillside, Ferguson must have enjoyed several of the spacious decks and terraces complete with canyon views and sparkling city lights.
With a resort-style swimming pool and spa with tented cabanas, the property should find a new owner soon.
