Renowned German tuner Brabus works with luxury vehicle brands from Jaguar to Land Rover. Now the company has updated Mercedes’ first fully in-house engineered car.
The Mercedes-AMG GT S is a powerful ride producing 503 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque and capable of speeding to 190 mph. However, with the addition of Brabus’ PowerXtra B40-600 plug-in module, the impressive 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine can deliver 591 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque.
Of course the Brabus addition also adds to speed, allowing the vehicle to reach a top speed of 201 mph.
If these powerful upgrades sound familiar, it might be because it’s the same package the company used to enhance the C63 sedan seen at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show.
With the addition of a titanium active exhaust system, Brabus 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, and a three-year, 62,000-mile warranty, customers won’t be disappointed.
