It’s hard to imagine anyone turning down superstars Jay Z and Beyonce, but apparently it’s happened. The music powerhouse couple have recently been evicted from the Holmby Hills, Calif., mansion they were renting.
Although the couple and their daughter Blue Ivy have been living in the 16,000-square-foot house on and off since last summer, the owner has decided to sell so the family of three will be looking for a new place to call home.
After nearly a year and a half on the market, the luxurious mansion sold for $35.5 million, a significant drop from the original asking price of $48 million. However, the seller can’t complain too much since the power couple was paying them $150,000 a month to rent the beautiful property.
Labeled the tenth most expensive available home in L.A. as of last year, the seven-bedroom mansion with a wine cellar, catering kitchen, infinity pool, 75-foot-long art gallery, two libraries, a tennis court, and a theater is sure to have been a part of many happy memories for the superstar family.
