Mercedes-AMG is continuing to offer special models of its cars with the limited-production Edition 1 version of the new C63 coupe.
Customers will be able to choose between the not-so-standard 469-hp C63 and the supercharged 503-hp S model. Both coupes sport twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engines.
The tamer C63 comes with graphite-gray sport stripes, AMG Aerodynamics Package, AMG Night Package, matte-black wheels, and yellow contrast stitching.
The brand’s Aerodynamics package includes a specialized front spoiler, side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a trunk lip spoiler all in gloss black, while the Night package adds a silver chrome grill, chrome-plated dual exhaust tips, dark tinted glass, and additional gloss-black trim.
The S model comes with the aforementioned upgrades but is only available in matte gray with bright yellow stripes. Drivers will enjoy the higher-performance tires and the opportunity to add a ceramic high-performance-compound braking system.
The 2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 coupe is projected to start in the low $70Ks. Pricing for the Edition 1 version hasn’t been announced yet.
