The new Mercedes-Benz’ 2017 S-Class Cabriolet is the first open-top luxury four-seat from Mercedes-Benz since 1971, and it’s come back to make quite an impression. Drivers can choose between black, dark blue, beige, and dark red for the sleek three-layer acoustic soft top.
Luxury options now include heated armrests and seats, a Thermotronic intelligent climate control system, and an automatic wind protection system called Aircap. The Thermotronic system is intuitive and fully automatic so drivers don’t have to worry about adjusting settings.
Other upgraded features include a luggage compartment that can be operated without stopping and a new aluminum rear floor that lowers the car’s overall body shell weight.
Mercedes-Benz’ new 2017 S-Class Cabriolet is available with two powertrains—the 585PS 5.5-liter biturbo V8 in the S 63 4Matic Cabriolet and the 455PS 4.7-liter V8 in the S 500 Cabriolet.
Although the new S-Class goes on sale this December, you wont see it at dealerships until the spring.
