A Beverly Hills mansion—America’s most expensive—just received a $46 million price cut.
Known as the Palazzo di Amore (Palace of Love), the California home is set on 25 acres and has been available since November 2014. Almost a year later, the property remains on the market and was just reduced from its original listing price of $195 million to $149 million.
Designed by Gigi Hadid’s father Mohammed, the expansive property is currently owned by Jeff Greene and features a ballroom, rotating dance floor, DJ booth, laser-light system, theater, and bowling alley. The incredible amenities don’t end there though.
Greene’s 35,000-square-foot home wows with a two-story entrance hall complete with two magnificent staircases. Hand-carved fireplace mantels, a glass-floor pathway, and a 128-foot reflecting pool give the house an air of complete elegance.
Of course, a 12-bedroom mega-mansion wouldn’t be complete without a working vineyard on the property. The vineyard produces six kinds of wine, which works out perfectly since the home houses a wine cellar fit for 13,000 bottles.
If someone does decide to pay $149 million, the Beverly Hills home will set a record for the most expensive home ever sold in the U.S. Hedge fund manager Barry Rosenstein currently holds the record with the 18-acre East Hampton home he purchased for $147 million last year.
