Breaking iPhone and iPad charging cables happens more often than users would like. Mechanical engineer Moazzam Khan paired with Esbee cable to design a charging cable designed to outlast.
Esbee cables are said to be 60 percent thicker than standard 28 AWG power wires. Made with premium leather, not only are the new cables durable, they also don’t tangle.
With 18-stranded braided mesh, five layers of insulation, and four wires inside each cable, they offer increased electric flow for superior charging capabilities. A 24-carat gold flashed connector and nickel-plated connectors complete the unique look.
Available in two leather color options and five colored suede versions, users can match the new cords to their Apple device. Early bird pricing starts at $24 on Kickstarter.
