Lamborghini enthusiasts will be happy to see that the luxury brand has unveiled the new Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster. First presented at Monterey Car Week, the new model features a sleek, angular build.
The ultra-sporty supercar is 110 pounds lighter than the original Aventador and features 50 more hp for a total of 750 hp. Drivers can also roll down a power rear window to fill the cabin with the sounds of the 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine.
Capable of going from zero to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds, the powerful Lamborghini can reach top speeds of around 218 mph. The convertible features a unique seven-speed transmission allowing all four wheels to handle extreme corners and high speeds.
The Superveloce Roadster comes complete with a two-piece, carbon-fiber hardtop that can easily be stored in the on-board luggage compartment. Lamborghini’s Italian factory will begin deliveries of the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster in early 2016.
